Having recently spent a few nights at the Bruegel hostel in Canterbury, I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the overall value it offered. The hostel is conveniently located, making it easy to explore the city center within a short walk. For those using public transport, the proximity to Lidl and a fantastic friterie is also a plus.The hostel itself is well-maintained and clean, providing guests with lockable storage and comfortable, tidy rooms. The availability of a table and chair in the room was a thoughtful touch. The inclusion of sparkling water fountains alongside the regular ones was a nice touch that added a touch of luxury to the stay.In terms of services, the friendly staff were always on hand to help, and the breakfast spread, including options for vegans and vegetarians, was both delicious and convenient. The hostel's free Wi-Fi and luggage storage facilities also contributed to a hassle-free experience.All in all, for travelers looking for a good balance between affordability and comfort, Bruegel offers a solid value proposition in the heart of Canterbury. A recommended option for your stay in the area.
